Investigators following up on a report of the molestation of a minor child were able to confirm the victim’s account, according to sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee.
Pina was arrested Monday and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on seven felony counts of child molestation. He is currently being held in lieu of $12,000,000 bail.
Pina is an employee at the Palmer School at 2740 Jones Road in unincorporated Walnut Creek, according to police. The victim in this case is not linked to the school. Anyone with information about Pina is asked to contact the Investigation Division at (925) 313-2600.

We live in a world of good and bad people, including predators. Some look like this guy and some went to the best prep school and to Yale. A bunch of them went to Yale, it seems. Be on your guard!
$12 million dollar bail. How in the world was that arrived at? The guy who was amber-alerted last night was given $300K bail, and he was most definitely inclined to violence and kidnapping. If there is rhyme or reason to this 40 fold difference it is truly mystical.
This stuff just keeps on happening. So sorry for the victim.
We no longer do what I wish we would do with people like this.
So sick.
Guessing the high bail reflects the severity of the attacks and likelihood of fleeing the country??
Thoughts for that child.
