Black Clouds, Hail, Thunder, Lightning, Crashes, Spills, Crooked Deeds And A Fight For Life In Walnut Creek
Just your usual morning in the 24/680, with heavy winds and hail making things slick for drivers; people waking up to find things they thought were theirs are gone and now belong to someone else; and fire and police fighting to save a young life from the grip of a Fentanyl OD.

Neighbors in Concord arrived at their business for another day to find that thieves had made off with their security system overnight. Several others reported slippery going on the roads and sidewalks as Californians unused to icy conditions slipped and fell on well-cushioned areas in alarming number – but came up laughing.
Just another day in our respective neighborhoods.
Who knows what else the day will bring?

That’s quite a morning.
(Edit)@Kelly – It has been.
Fentanyl??
@ASantos – Afraid so.
I was about to leave for work when the hail started. Decided it was best to stay put because I have absolutely no trust in other drivers to make the right decision on whether to slow down or not.
“Hey, look! Ice falling from the sky! Let’s go faster!”
Hail no.
@GF – May have been the wisest move as it turned out!
Beautiful rainbow picture!!!
