San Ramon police are investigating a robbery at the Pacific Service Credit Union on Crow Canyon Thursday afternoon. No one was hurt during the theft.
Readers informed NEWS24/680 of a commotion and police response at the bank, 2005 Crow Canyon Pl., at approximately 1:20 p.m.
A Pacific Islander or bi-racial woman in her 30s, wearing a dark blue baseball cap, gloves, and an orange construction vest apparently entered the credit union a few minutes earlier and handed a note demanding cash to a teller, leaving after an undetermined amount of money was handed over.
Local police responded to a call from the credit union and initiated their search for the culprit, but as of this writing we do not believe she had been located.
No self-respecting woman would wear a construction vest to a robbery. Orange vest, dark blue cap? What was she thinking?
not very fashion forward, I agree. Everyone knows construction vests are sooo last year…..
At least she didn’t bring a gun in with her. Girls don’t do guns.
Saw all the police and wondered what happened. Glad no one was hurt. Crazy.
She was just being safe while on the job.
It might be a fashion trend…. As earlier in the week a thief dressed in a safety vest walked out of the computer store with the laptop… two days in a row!
Sure were a lot of police.
Maybe she works with this guy: http://wp62.hostgator.com/~wac7bm0abzxa/2016/02/12/burglar-on-the-job-in-orinda-do-you-know-him/
