RADKE MARTINEZ REGIONAL SHORELINE – Winter is for the birds! Join us for a peaceful winter bird walk as we explore the rich waterways of the East Bay, where local and visiting feathered friends gather to overwinter. Together we’ll observe their fascinating behaviors and adaptations on a gentle stroll. Great for the beginner birder, this program is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty and diversity of winter wildlife. Bring binoculars if you have them – or borrow a pair from us. Bird guides will also be available. 1.5-mile walk on a flat and partially paved trail. May be muddy depending on weather conditions.
Meet at the N Court St Parking Lot (first left after Joe di Maggio Dr). Dress for the weather. Heavy rain cancels. Check website for updates or call (510) 544-2750 that morning.
