“Good Bones”

Lots of locals stopping by to stare dreamily at the stripped-down Park Theater in Lafayette today, people hanging on the chain link fencing and talking about first movies and first dates there.

Construction is underway and with eyes on a 2027 re-opening and folks behind the effort are looking for funding.

In the meantime, we can all play Sidewalk Superintendent and think about warm summer nights, a flickering movie screen and a memorable movie or first date.
