A 4.0Magnitude Quake Rolled Through San Ramon and environs Friday night, followed by a swarm of milder shakers that left residents alternately giddy or wary.
Emergency Services in the area invoked a quake protocol for temblors of this size, rolling out apparatus to prevent them from getting trapped under infrastructure and assessing vital services.
There were NO immediate reports of damage. First shakers rolled through area at 7:56pm with SECOND and THIRD aftershocks following at 3.1Magnitude and 2.2Magnitude respectively.

That first one was a thumper!!!
At any time on any day, the world could end. The possibilities are too numerous to mention.
At any time on any day, a person’s life could end, no notice given.
Life is fragile.
A few minor earthquakes in any given area are meaningless.
Be grateful every day when you wake up on the sunny side of the dirt.
“At any time on any day, the world could end…”
Um, what have you heard?
