Burglars struck Danville’s Lottie’s Creamery on Sunday. The business owner reports the loss of their cash register, weekend deposits, and “some equipment” essential to their business.

Now them hitting Walnut Creek and Lafayette was bad enough that they got away with it. But really surprised me that they got away with it in Danville. Danville law enforcement is always on top! But to be realistic these Crooks probably have partners in cars a few blocks away Stanley watch and communicating with cell phones. I do bet you anything they’re part of the ‘tunnel gang’ though.
Danville PD has a history of excessive use of force resulting in death imo. Perhaps you are new to The Town.
There is no Danville PD. They are a contract city and the “officers” are deputy sheriffs in disguise. And, they are very kind and gentle compared to my style of law enforcement.

Danville PD contracts out to Sheriff’s office. They are fantastic honorable men and women. There are a few bad apples in any profession but the people of Danville support our LEOs. The thugs not so much.
According to openjustice.org, Danville PD clearance rates for Burglary was 22% in 2024. Pretty bad if that’s the ‘top’.
