A car caught fire at Quandt and Pleasant Hill Road in Lafayette Thursday evening and our Flash Alert system swung into action with alerts going to readers and photos flooding in!
Flashers were quick to report the flames and that arriving firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze but by then the damage was done and traffic in the area was snarled as crews moved in to overhaul the blaze and clean up the scene.
No injuries were reported. The first calls for help came in at 6:11 p.m.
