A crew of four people who stole dozens of cigarette cartons from a delivery van outside a Pleasant Hill 7Eleven store at 601 Patterson Boulevard led police air and ground units on a twisty chase north into Antioch – where they were taken into custody after colliding with a fence.

Pleasant Hill police responded to a call for assistance at the store at 2:22pm, a shaken delivery man reporting he was robbed by three masked and hooded individuals, a fourth waiting in a nearby car.
Police alerted neighboring jurisdictions of the robbery along with a description of a getaway car and, at 2:57pm, Antioch police were advised the vehicle had crashed into a fence near the intersection of F Street and 13th.

Officers advised their dispatch that the suspects fled from the car on foot and neighboring agencies, supported by a law enforcement helicopter, flooded the area to take the suspects into custody.
No smoking in county.
Lol you’re right ?
Stole dozens of cigarettes valued at dozens of dollars? Not Wharton dropouts. These were hardened criminals without white-shoe representation.
Filthy habit.
Hahaha. Dozens of cigarettes? Not a good ROI considering all the fees they have to pay now!
According to the interweb the avg cost in CA is about $11 a pack.
“A carton of cigarettes is a packaged box containing 10 packs of cigarettes. On average, one carton of cigarettes typically costs between $30 and $60 in the United States.”
These guys ain’t “Good Fellas”. I believe the correct method is collect driver license, make threat, steal truck, pay respects to Paulie.
Oh man I was just in room 9 with these guys. All makes sense now
