UPDATE: Coroner’s officials on Monday identified the victim as Jahangir Bozorgmanesh, 92, of Danville.
A motorist was killed after losing control of their car and crashing into a tree on Camino Tassajara at Shady Creek Drive in Danville Friday.
The crash was reported at 8:47 pm.
A bystander and emergency crews attempted to save the individual after he was found unconscious and unresponsive in the wreckage of his Toyota 4Runner but he was declared deceased at the scene.
Road closures are going up with eastbound Camino Tassajara closed to Glasgow.
Someone was really trying to bring him back out there. They deserve a medal.
One of those “good people” we hear about and need so much these days.
