Heavy Fire Burns Structure In Orinda Monday

Firefighters battled a structure fire in the area of Normandy and Ridge lanes late Monday night.

Early reports were that all occupants of a home in the area are out and safe.

Initial calls started to come in around 10:45 p.m. with first reports saying a hillside behind a home in the area was burning, then a pool house behind the home and then the home itself. The area is difficult to access and at this hour we don’t know how many homes have been affected.
