Two East Bay teens were struck and wounded by gunfire in an apparently targeted car-to-car attack in the area of Stoneridge and Gibraltar Drive in Pleasanton late Saturday night.
In a prepared release, police said they received calls from residents reporting the sounds of gunfire in that area at approximately 11 p.m. As officers searched for evidence, the California Highway Patrol was contacted by two people pulled over on eastbound Interstate 580 at Hacienda Drive who reported they had been shot and were in need of medical attention.
Officers responded and made contact with three people in a bullet-pocked car, two of whom had sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The victims told police they had exited the freeway and were driving westbound on Stoneridge Drive when someone in another car opened fire on them with a weapon of undisclosed type.
The victims, an 18-year-old man from Oakland and an 18-year-old woman from Richmond, were both hit but their wounds were not considered to be life-threatening.
Keep it in the hood.
So it seems we have rappers and teenagers with no tie to Pleasanton going to Pleasanton and getting shot. I”m not a detective but it seems to me there’s something going on in Pleasanton.
But remember, above all… that BLM
So much for a peaceful start to 2021…
Did some drug turf just open up in the tri valley? Or are they just doing their shooting here because its softer than Oakland or San Francisco?
People got the memo that tri-valley is an NRA hotbed.
Gun rights advocates reap what you sow.
