As we noted last night (Monday, May 18), at least one burglary crew was at work in Lamorinda – breaking into a work truck as seen on the accompanying video – and possibly other venues around the area.

A “white” car reportedly stopped on Arroyo Drive in Orinda and a passenger got out to break into a work truck at around 8:30 p.m. Monday, the homeowner notifying local police and giving a description of the car.

Police in neighboring Moraga reportedly spotted the car, actually a silver Chevy Cavalier, in their town a short time later and stopped the vehicle at Alta Mesa and Via Joaquin, holding the occupants at gunpoint until supporting officers could arrive.

Three people were detained. Their identities, ages, hometowns were not released by police.

Now just hope they will be kept as the scumbags they are and not released for their health.
