Formal Charges Filed Against Home Invasion Robbery Suspects

The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office has filed 25 felony counts against home invasion robbery suspects Adama Diop and Joseph C. Wells Jr. 

The charges include kidnapping, robbery, burglary, grand theft, carjacking and intimidation. 

Diop and Wells remain in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility. They are each being held in lieu of $9,125,000 bail.

    That’s quite the bail. Once again, if they hadn’t bailed out at $5K, the other home invasions wouldn’t have happened. They’ll be at it again the minute they’re released, so give them life in prison without parole.

    Very aggressive criminal acts for people so young. They don’t exactly seem suited to rehabilitation.

    What about a battery/assault charge for the injuries caused to some of the victims?

      25 counts, so it appears the DA covered everything.
