Motorists Extricated After Rollover Accident In Broadway Plaza Parking Garage Wednesday

Firefighters from the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District were called on to extricate two people trapped inside their car after it rolled onto its side in the Broadway Plaza Parking Garage on S. Main Street Wednesday.

Walnut Creek police were investigating the cause of the crash, reported at 1:53 p.m., but firefighters told this site the driver apparently hit the gas instead of the brake, overcorrected and ended up rolling the car up on its side.

The unidentified victims suffered minor injuries in the crash but both required extrication from the vehicle.
