The revolving door that has become the local shoplifting scene in the 24/680 took a fresh turn Thursday when a trio of suspected pilferers returned to a downtown Lululemon store for the second time in two days – and ran into police.
This story is evolving as police have only just now detained the trio outside the Stanford’s restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek, with surprised onlookers watching as the action unfolded.
A car associated with the trio and currently surrounded by police was believed to be the same one used in a theft Wednesday.
The store has experienced a series of thefts of its workout attire in recent weeks.
