San Ramon Police Arrest Suspect In Tuesday Evening Carjack/Robbery
Released Thursday by San Ramon PD:
Earlier this afternoon, SRPD Detectives arrested the suspect in Tuesday night’s carjacking. Johnny Edward Orta Ciccotti, a 24 year old San Lorenzo resident, was taken into custody at his home and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for violations of Penal Codes 211 (robbery), 215 (carjacking), and 1203.2 (Probation violation). He is being held without bail.

What was he on probation for?
Isn’t it funny, that almost every crime being committed in our area this year, is being done by people on probation. I think it’s time that we stopped letting them out of jail so quickly only to repeat crimes on a new set of victims. Frankly, I don’t care if they’re overcrowded in prison. Seems that our politicians and judges are more worried about the criminals than us.
