 )\nJoin us for our "Weekend Open House and Train Show". Our permanent H.O.
  scale layout is one of the most mountainous in the United States\, with o
 ver 4\,400 feet of track covering an area of 1\,900 square feet and climbi
 ng to an elevation of four feet. Our members operate many unique freight a
 nd passenger trains from days past when steam was king.\nVisit the towns o
 f "Port Allen"\, with its busy seaport\, naval ships and operating bascule
  bridge\; "Mallard" where\, in days long past\, the ferry "Ramon" would co
 nvey trains of the Sacramento-Northern across the Strait\; "Diablo" to vie
 w our expansive freight sorting "hump" yard\; "Olympia" to view operations
  of the electric trolley system as it travels through the city\; and "Thom
 pson Flat" and view the narrow gauge railway as it ascends to the alpine c
 og railway and aerial gondola. We are located in Larkey Park opposite the 
 swimming pool and within a short walk of the Lindsay Wildlife Experience.
