DESCRIPTION:\nOn May 21\, 1976\, a school bus taking a choir from Yuba City
  High School to Orinda took the Marina Vista Avenue off-ramp in Martinez\,
  struck a guardrail\, left the elevated roadway\, and landed upside down. 
 In all\, 27 students\, and an adult advisor were killed. 24 others were in
 jured.\n\n\nMartinez Waterfront Memorial Site\n7 North Court Street\nMarti
 nez \n\nThe ceremony will include a tribute to the surviving students\, re
 cognition of the first responders\, medical staff\, and Shell refinery per
 sonnel\, and thanks to the Martinez community.\n\n
