 y large American White Pelican makes its journey to Lake Del Valle after t
 ravelling thousands of miles from its breeding grounds in Canada. These bi
 rds are easy to see and often congregate in groups along the edges of the 
 shoreline near the marina. They are one of the easier birds to observe whi
 le marveling at their migratory accomplishments. Join us any time between 
 1:30pm to 3pm every Saturday and Sunday in November and December to take a
  closer look through our spotting scopes.\n\n1:30-3pm\, Every Saturday and
