Buzz Session to Focus on Senior Driving
Sept. 16 session examines when to stop driving
Danville area seniors and their families are invited to the latest Senior Buzz Session, where the topic of driving will be discussed. As people age it is normal for driving abilities to change. This Sept. 16, 2015 Buzz Session will help seniors learn to identify the warning signs that it may no longer be safe for them to drive. If it’s time to park the car, although life may seem challenging at first, there are many options to get seniors where they need to go.
The workshop, sponsored by the Danville Police Department and Visiting Angels, will go over the early symptoms and lay out options for how to travel once you can no longer drive.
The Buzz Session will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., September 16, 2015, at the Danville Senior Center, 115 E. Prospect Avenue.
Pre-registration is required. Fee is $2 Residents/$3 non-residents. Register by calling (925) 314-3400.
