The perfect way to spend the Friday after Thanksgiving…head downtown for a visit from Father Christmas and the Snow Angel. Come downtown for a wonderful Danville tradition, the Lighting of the Old Oak Tree.
Starting at 5:00 p.m., November 24, 2017 residents can come downtown, check out all the great Danville shops, discover local culinary delights and enjoy seasonal live performance through downtown.
Leading up to the lighting, the San Ramon Valley High School Chorus and other groups will perform at the reviewing stand on Diablo Rd. Then, when the time is right, Father Christmas and the Snow Angel will come out to address the crowd. The Snow Angel will sprinkle her magic dust and the tree will spring to light!
Several downtown streets will be closed for the event. A map of the closures is attached. Closures will run from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
