DESCRIPTION:The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is an all-
 risk\, all-hazard training course. It is part of FEMA’s Citizen Corps pr
 ograms. This valuable course is designed to help you take care of yourself
 \, your family\, your neighbors and your neighborhood in an emergency situ
 ation.\n\nCERT is a positive and realistic approach to emergency and disas
 ter preparedness where citizens learn to take independent actions that ar
 e critical to their safety. Many people will respond to others in need wi
 thout training but the CERT course is designed to help them do so safely a
 nd effectively.\n\nThe course is one night a week for nine weeks. The Fall
