 12:30pm\n\nColor Tricks\nBe your own color wizard to evoke emotions and at
 mospheres of your choosing to fuel personal artistic growth and expression
 .\nUsing watercolor for the class will focus on exploring color and its tr
 icks\, emphasizing specific contrasts and relationships that work in other
  mediums. By understanding transparent color with a limited palette\, the 
 unpredictable nature of wet paint becomes more enjoyable and less intimida
 ting. There are some initial exercises resulting in a set of color chips t
 o keep for personal reference\, (no color wheels)\, and the course will co
 ver basic techniques for paint control\, applicable to desired subject mat
 ter.\n\nWe start with color contrast chips and end with a painting encoura
 ging the freedom to use chosen references and materials creating new oppor
 tunities for the artist.\n\nInstructor: Linda Sutton\nRenowned “Plein ai
 re” artist Linda Sutton\, with 35 years of experience\, skillfully balan
 ces abstraction and realism to create captivating atmospheres. In addition
  to her artistry\, Linda instructs adult classes and workshops on Transpar
 ent Color Theory. Residing in the California hills\, she draws inspiration
  from the wildlife and interplay of light in her surroundings. Raised with
  a keen eye for color\, Linda’s fascination with transparent hues has le
 d her to primarily explore transparent watercolors for over three decades.
 \n\nMaterials Fee: $25\nThe materials are specific and are provided at a c
 ost of $25 which will be paid in class directly to the instructor. Please 
 make a note that this is not included in the cost of the course.
