 cuses on understanding the impacts of climate change on people and the pla
 net. She is the Chief Scientist for The Nature Conservancy and a distingui
 shed professor and endowed chair at Texas Tech University. She has receive
 d numerous awards\, honorary degrees\, and recognitions for her work\, inc
 luding being named one of the TIME 100 most influential people and a Unite
 d National Champion of the Earth.\n\nHer topic will be “A Climate Scient
 ist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World\,” inspired by mate
 rial in her most recent book.\n\nCalled “one of the nation’s most effe
 ctive communicators on climate change” by The New York Times and named o
 ne of Christianity Today’s "50 Women to Watch\," Hayhoe brings clarity\,
  compassion\, and credibility to a topic that affects us all\n\nProject Pe
 ace is on a mission to help communities flourish in the San Francisco East
  Bay. They mobilize volunteers and resources to serve their trusted commun
