Bit of activity in Lamorinda overnight as a driver fleeing police blazed a trail from El Sobrante into Lafayette Wednesday night – attracting lots of attention along the way.
The man pictured fled from officers on foot after crashing his Dodge van near Lafayette BART, taking off his shirt for reasons unknown and attempting to hunker down in the BART parking lot before deputies, a police dog, the sheriff’s helicopter moved in.
Initial indications were the man was fleeing police after a traffic violation.
He was arrested at 10:58 p.m.
UPDATE: The suspect in this case, Tamosh Adams, 46, was being held at the Martinez Detention Facility on unspecified charges. Bond was set at $50,000.

Our Flash Master was really wound up this morning!
Heard the sirens and helicopters
Running from police for just a traffic violation? He should of just pulled over. Mmm … there must be more to the story if deputies, a police dog and a sheriff’s helicopter were after him.
We’re in the story business and have found there is usually “more to the story,” George.
Current charges aren’t shedding any additional light on what kicked off this particular pursuit. The subject in this case is currently being held on $50,000 bond.
