Rolling Street Closures For Sunday Run For Education In Danville

Motorists are advised that several residential streets will be temporarily closed for the annual San Ramon Valley Education Foundation’s Run for Education in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 9, 2022.

Athletes participating in the 10K portion of the Run for Education event will be shuttled from the San Ramon City Center finish line to the starting line at Charlotte Wood Middle School. The race gets underway at 8:00 a.m.? Once the runners are clear of the starting zone, police will begin several short rolling closures along the race route:
  • Brookside Drive between Everett Drive and the Osage Station Park north parking lot;
  • Everett Drive between both Brookside Drive intersections;
  • Brookside Drive between Everett Drive and Paraiso Drive; and
  • Paraiso Drive between Brookside Drive and the Iron Horse Trail.
Drivers will be halted at trail crossings while runners pass. All rolling closures should be short term and all roads reopened by 8:45 a.m. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and expect delays.
