PD Release On Saturday’s Home Invasion In Lafayette

Lafayette Home Invasion/Kidnapping

On Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at about 8:22 PM, Lafayette police officers responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance at an apartment complex on the 1000 block of Carol Lane.

Officers arrived and after an investigation arrested a suspect, a resident at the complex, for home invasion robbery, kidnapping, and false imprisonment. The suspect, who was injured prior to the officers’ arrival, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He is not being identified at this time and will be booked into the Martinez Detention Facility when medically cleared.

  1. They’re not really anxious to disclose all of the foul ups that happened with the young suspect. Why parents dumped a mental case into the community, how the young man illegally acquired a gun, why the law protected the young man from eviction, etc. Liberal elected officials allowed this to happen.

  2. No suspect name. No real information from authorities. Isn’t that unusual for a kidnapping/homeinvasion case???
