Remembering The “Silent Service”

On Monday, July 11th at 7pm (PST), the Veterans’ Voices show will host a LIVE panel of Veteran Submariners. The in-depth discussion will explore the experiences of different generations of those serving on American Submarines. The panel will include 20-year VeteranSubmariner Tim Carlisle, as well as Veteran Submariners John North, Al Cole, Bill Dornick, Brian Wilson and Dominick Boncore.

Viewers can share their own experiences or ask a question by calling into the program at (925) 313-1170. They can also use the phone number to record a message for the panel any time prior to the show. The Veterans’ Voices program is broadcasted live on Contra Costa Television (CCTV) on the second Monday of every month at 7 pm. It can be seen live online at facebook.com/veteransvoices1. The experience of Submariners is one of the most unique in military service. The history of American Submariners has traditionally been veiled in mystery and secrecy. It is our hope that our discussion will pull back the curtain on a world that few have seen.
