Local Firefighters Bring Back “Fill the Boot” in Support of MDA After Two-Year Hiatus

Traditional Fill the Boot fundraiser in an untraditional venue
Dedicated fire fighters from United Professional Firefighters of Contra Costa County, IAFF Local 1230 will be kicking off this year’s fundraising efforts in a new and unique venue to encourage the community to donate to MDA on Saturday, May 7 from Noon to 4:00 PM, at Calicraft Brewing Co. in Walnut Creek.
This family friendly fun day will include firefighters, a fire truck, shirts for sale, custom pint glasses and goodies for the kids. There will be a raffle with multiple prizes available. A food truck will also be onsite.
Raffle prizes include: Hand crafted set of wine barrel Adirondack chairs; Dinner at a firehouse; Round of golf for 4 at Boundary Oak; Lindsay Wildlife Experience tickets; and more!
