Oakley Police Chief Paul Beard is expected to formally announce creation of a reward fund for information leading to the whereabouts of missing resident Alexis Gabe later this week.

Beard has scheduled a press conference for Thursday. He is expected to offer insight into
the case and share information about the city’s newly establish reward fund. The missing woman’s father is also expected to be on hand.

Alexis Gabe was last seen January 26, 2022, in Antioch. Investigators have been aggressively pursuing leads in the case and are now requesting the support of the community.

  1. Another nonsense and “emotional” teevee interview with the parents today. Pretty emotionless and no new information. And since when did news stories have to be emotional to make the news lineup???? TeeVee is dying if not already dead.
