Serial Subway Robbers? One In Vallejo, One In Martinez Tuesday

SHARE

On a busy night in the 24/680 with cars running at high speed and someone throwing shots around, police in Martinez responded to a Subway sandwich outlet on Arnold Drive after workers there reported an armed robbery at around 9 p.m.

Details are still sketchy as various investigations are just getting underway, but it appears a team of gunmen robbed a Subway at Vallejo Glen Cove earlier in the evening. It was not immediately known if the same team was responsible for the Martinez robbery as police had the business locked down.

Within an hour of the reported robbery police in Concord reported hearing gunshots in the area of Salvio and Galindo streets, with reports coming in of an armed robbery at a business in the 3200 block of Willow Pass Road.

We’ll have more on these and other instances reported so far tonight as they firm up.
