A young man skateboarding in the area of Putnam and Oak Park boulevards was stabbed by the occupants of a passing car Wednesday night after someone in the car threw eggs at the victim and he retaliated.

Police are looking for an older model white Toyota Corolla 4-door or possibly similar car with a windshield damaged during the exchange.

The unidentified boarder was in the area with others at about 10:30 p.m. when the suspect car drove by twice and eggs were thrown, the victim reportedly throwing his skateboard at the car – damaging it. At that point three suspects in the car got out and chased the victim down, the driver stabbing the victim several times and seriously injuring him.

The suspects fled the area and were last seen driving southbound on Putnam Boulevard into Walnut Creek. The suspect vehicle is described as an older model white 4-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla, with a sunroof and damage to the right front passenger window or the right front windshield.

The assault suspect is described as a white male, 5’8” tall, husky build, late teens or early 20s, with shorter dirty blond hair.

The boarder is being treated at a local hospital.
