Three people were killed and five others wounded at an overnight shooting in Richmond Sunday.

Witnesses said the shooting occurred at a traditional Guatemalan music and dance party held on Father’s Day, with possibly two gunmen opening fire on a houseful of about 100 celebrants in the 2100 block of Dunn Avenue just before 11 p.m.

Two victims were declared dead at the scene while a third succumbed to their wounds at a local hospital.

Richmond Lt. Matt Stonebraker said Monday that the party was advertised on Facebook and that many of the guests did not know one another.

No arrests have been made yet and the motive for the shooting is currently unknown, but police say they believe there were two shooters.
