Gint Federas of BayAreaSportsPhotos.com was out and about and shooting something other than a ballgame in Lafayette this afternoon, capturing this video snippet as Lafayette police officers closed in on a stolen car in the 3300 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard.
We’re trying to lure Gint to a career in spot news photography but he says he’s happy shooting sports, thank you very much.
Temporary custodian of this car was detained by police and the car processed for return to its rightful owner. Another vehicle also recovered at just about the same time in Alamo today (a hair past noon) so local police are having a good day.
Thanks for the alert!
I wonder if a license plate reader helped in this case…
We would put money on it!
Nice work LPD (Deputies), makes up for the handcuffed walk away earlier in the week. 108RS
We lost one?
Busy out there! Maybe the crooks are coming out of quarantine.
He even provides the play by play! True sports pro!!
And it’s a nice, cool and calm delivery, too! No “0 Muh Gawd, it’s a flipping war zone out there!”
