March For Kids – Contra Costa

(WALNUT CREEK, CA) Saturday, March 13, 2021 marks one year schools have been closed. On March 13 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm, the Contra Costa Parents for In-Person Learning will be participating in the statewide March for Kids sponsored by Open Schools CA. The purpose of March for Kids is to bring awareness that our schools need to open as soon as possible.

The non-partisan march will be at the intersection of Oak Grove and Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek.

Participants could park their cars at the Nob Hill Foods Shopping Center (Citrus Center), 2270 Oak Grove Road, Walnut Creek, CA 94598. Organizers ask that participants join the march with MASKS and posters! Organizers will have posters available.

Participants are welcome to bring their children, friends, and neighbors. Let’s represent Contra Costa!

    • P.S. A friend who works in an ER said 4 months ago teenage attempted suicides / suicides were up at least 200%.

      She then informed me that once the teenager medically recovers, they go to the loony hospital for 72 hours (San Leandro?) for diagnosis. She said you DON’T want to be there.

  1. Where I went t school, most kids/families didn’t take education seriously. My kids went to school in Concord, and those schools have now gone downhill. The schools need to be open.
