Walnut Creek police released some store surveillance images of a man they say broke into a car the evening of July 10, using a stolen credit card taken in the burglary the next day at a local store.

  1. Do not leave valuables, such as credit card, in unattended vehicle. How difficult is it to take it with you?

  2. At this point anyone silly enough to leave their purse or computer or personal items in a car shouldn’t call police if they get ripped off. There have been plenty of warnings.
