From the Town of Danville:

Fire up the grill and get the cooler ready because Music in the Park is back and this time you can enjoy it from your own backyard.  This summer, the Town of Danville is presenting two virtual concerts filmed from the stage at the Village Theatre that will stream directly to the Town’s Facebook and YouTube accounts.  The two shows being featured are:

July 25, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., dance to an amazing array of Funk, Soul, Pop, Latin and R&B styles with the Project 4 Band.  This 8-piece band is considered among the best dance and show bands in the Bay Area.  The lead vocalist Gerald Glasper is a known impressionist of Rick James, James Brown, Michael Jackson and more which he incorporates into his performances. Their Female vocalist, Kami Herron-Chiles, brings the sultry vocal styles of Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight to the band’s repertoire.

August 8, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., enjoy the modern stylings of Maroon Vibes, a Maroon 5 Tribute band.  Set to deliver an authentic experience, frontman Joe Urbano has a strong resemblance to Adam Levine, but is also able to hit that same recognizable falsetto.  The band consists of top-talent musicians with show credits working alongside the likes of Train and Toad the Wet Sprocket.

Enjoy a gorgeous Danville summer night as both bands are sure to have you up and dancing. These virtual concerts will run approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
