Two-Alarm Grass Fire Brought To A Halt In Concord Saturday

A swift-moving grass fire consumed 136 acres of grassland and a building of unspecified type at Highway 4 and Willow Pass Road in Concord Saturday.

The blaze, reported at 4:56 p.m. and reported out by 6:40 p.m. was elevated to two alarms with aerial tankers making drops to support crews on the ground.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
