Find books as well as jams and spices for yourself or someone you love at the February 8 Friends of the Library Book Sale at the Pleasant Hill Library, 1750 Oak Park Blvd., Pleasant Hill.

On Saturday, February 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., book lovers can find a huge selection of high quality, individually priced premium books, CDs, DVDs and audio books, puzzles and board games as well as like-new books for sale. All fiction books are alphabetized by author. We will have the usual range of all non-fiction categories plus the NEW: Red Sticker Specials! Our collection of individually priced children’s and teen books start at $1 and our regular crated children’s and teen books are priced at 50¢ each.

Treat your Valentine! Find a sweet selection of jams, jellies and marmalades priced at $5 each. Each jar is made by Tom Wright, an award-winner in county fairs since 2010. Book Blend spices will also be available for purchase. The blends are $8 a bottle, 2 blends for $15 or 3 blends for $21.

From 1 to 3 p.m., most items are 50 percent off. There is no early entry and no bag sale at this event.
