From the City of Orinda:
Winter OYS Basketball registration is open for one more month! This league consists of Boys K, 1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th and Girls K/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th grade divisions, with each division specializing in various facets of basketball in an engaging and fun manner!
The season will run January 6 – March 14, with practices during the midweek and weekend games for both 2nd/3rd grade divisions, and clinics (practice/game combination) on Friday evenings and/or the weekends for all other divisions. The league is run by parent volunteer coaches, and all sessions are held at OUSD Elementary Schools. Teams are formed based off coach requests and school locations.
Registration is open through December 16, but sign up soon (https://secure.rec1.com/CA/orinda-ca/catalog) because spots are filling up quickly, especially in the K & 1st grade levels! Please contact Matt Delmartini at mdelmartini@cityoforinda.org with any questions.
