Salute the start of summer at the 38th annual Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival with a free weekend of family fun and entertainment on Saturday, June 1, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 2, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout beautiful Heather Farm Park.

Presented by the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, the award-winning festival features local artists, live music, a wide variety of food and drink concessions, Craft Beer Garden, Premium Wine Tent, interactive Kid’s Zone, and famous Festival Train for all ages to enjoy. This year will feature a new Beer Pong Tournament plus Corn Hole and other lawn games for festival-goers to enjoy.

Walnut Creek’s own Shadowbrook Winery will be featured this year along with premium pours from Stags’ Leap and Trinitas in the Premium Wine Tent. Enjoy select wines from Oregon’s Willamette Valley and Dundee Hills along with French and Italian varietals. The Craft Beer Garden will offer local microbrews from favorites like Calicraft, Del Cielo Brewing, Eight Bridges and many more to complement delicious treats from Heritage Eats, Chicken and the Farm, The Juicery, and Pig in a Pickle BBQ.

Dance and sing along with top local bands like Mustache Harbor, Neon Velvet, Mitch Woods, and Chicago the Tribute just to name a few. Find unique, affordable gifts and local artwork among hundreds of artists booths ranging from photography, jewelry, clothing, linens, lamps, porcelain pieces, delicate sketches, and much more.

Don’t miss a visit by The Oakland A’s Stomper on Saturday, June 1, from1 to 3 p.m. along with loads of fun for the kiddos in the ever-popular Kid’s Zone. Take an electric train around the lake, walk on water inside a giant bubble, and relax on a blanket with family, neighbors, and friends over two full days of festival fun in the sun.

The Festival takes place throughout Heather Farm Park at 301 N. San Carlos Drive, Walnut Creek. The event is BART-able with a free shuttle ride to the festival from the Walnut Creek Station; parking at Heather Farm Park is $8. There is free bicycle parking at the festival.
