Guest Readers: Dani Gabriel and Rachel Dacus

Dani Gabriel is a poet, writer, and teacher, the author of a forthcoming children’s book (Penny Candy Books), The Woman You Write Poems About (Civil Defense Press) and coauthor of Molotov Mouths (Manic D Press). She holds a BA from UC Berkeley in Peace and Conflict Studies and an MFA from Mills College in Creative Writing. She is a postulant for the Diaconate in the Episcopal Diocese of California.

Rachel Dacus is the author of The Renaissance Club, a time travel romance novel involving the great 17th century Italian sculptor Gianlorenzo Bernini. Dacus’ poetry collections are Arabesque, Gods of Water and Air (a collection of poetry, prose, and drama), Earth Lessons and Femme au Chapeau. Her poetry and prose have appeared in Atlanta Review, Boulevard, Prairie Schooner, The Pedestal, and Valparaiso Poetry Review. Rachel resides in Northern California with her husband and Silky Terrier, where she raises funds for good causes.
