The City of Lafayette has learned that Council Member Mark Mitchell passed away unexpectedly yesterday.
Mayor Tatzin said, “Mark was a thoughtful and dedicated public servant for many years and we are all saddened by his passing. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.”
