Mili from Martinez writes us about Mustang, a little critter she scooped up after he was hit and found hiding under his namesake car – and while we know that may be a lot of alliteration to handle early on a Saturday morning, Mili and Mustang could use a little help with the vet bills as he heals up.
Turns out this kitten (8 weeks old approximately) was found sheltering under a parked car at Morello Ave. in front of Plum Tree Apartments. He had wounds on his hind legs. Good Samaritans took him to a veterinary hospital to be treated and they said that one of his legs needed to be amputated and that they would try to save the other one.
Vet bills have reached $6,408.18 and with another surgery looming Mustang and his human pals are hoping to secure a little funding, especially since his humans are carrying the bill themselves and we all know what health care costs these days.
So, check out their story and photos from the vet and kick in a little something if you can at Mustang’s GoFundMe Account.
What an adorable little kitty…
