After a smoky and highly visible brush fire caught resident’s attention and prompted a few evacuations in San Ramon Sunday another blaze, not far away from yesterday’s blaze at Bollinger and Crow Canyon – flared up today.

A considerable firefighting force is mustering to put this one down and apparatus has maneuvered into position on Pradera Way to protect homes in the area.

A few homes on Pradera Way are being evacuated (2:50 p.m.) and a man spotted in the area shortly before the fire was reported is being sought – white male, 50s, in a newer model Jeep.

Police are suggesting that anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area to call them at 925-973-2779 if you have any information.
