Residents in the Grayson Woods neighborhood of Lafayette were startled by the sounds of an SUV leaving Reliez Valley Road shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday – the vehicle crashing through the brush and toward a local home until a tree intervened.
Neighbors reported the crash at 9:53 p.m. and found the car tangled in heavy brush off Reliez Valley north of Grayson Road, arriving in time to see the car’s driver taken in for a medical evaluation by emergency services.
Several noted that, but for the fortuitous intervention of the tree, the SUV appeared on course for the backyard of a nearby home. Unknown injuries for the driver, no one else hurt, according to neighbors.
