… And Then There’s An Attempted Bank Robbery In San Ramon Minutes Later

The San Ramon Police Department are seeking a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred today just after 1:03 pm.

Police say a subject entered the Safeway store located at 2505 San Ramon Valley Blvd. He walked directly to the US Bank counter and brandished a black, semi-automatic handgun along with a demand note. The note demanded money. The teller refused to give him money, at which point the suspect fled on foot and exited the store.

The suspect was described as a white male adult, 6’0″, mid 40’s, weighing 215-230 pounds. He was wearing a straw hat, a button down Hawaiian style shirt, dark pants and white shoes.

  1. Interesting that he’s carrying the same case as the guy in Danville. Change of clothes – walk into another bank?
