A smoky, fast-moving little brush fire on the hillside behind Buckingham Drive in Moraga got everyone’s attention this afternoon – particularly the air aces from CalFire.
This pilot appears to have used the photographer as an aiming stake to make this perfect retardant drop, checking the fire’s advance and turning any unwary critters in the area a Golden Gate Orange.
Someone sounds as if he’s having a really good time there at the end!
He does seem to be enjoying things, doesn’t he?
Yesssss! Love it!!!
I always wonder what they’re thinking
“Here’s the WWII air ace on dawn patrol over the fields of France when, out of the blue, a Hun locomotive appears… rattatataaatataa.”
Great perspective. That was crazy.
Watch those power lines pal.
Thank You!!!
So skilled…
They are, you bet.
That one man was great! Too funny!!!
I have watched this 10 times now. Please stop me.
Hey, it is sort of mesmerizing in its own way. Whatever waggles your wings!
Loved the guy at the end!!
