Workers from the California Department of Transportation will be busy scrubbing down the No. 4 bore of the Caldecott Tunnel for three nights, starting tonight, June 11, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.
If you’re a Nighthawker or Early Commuter, you know what that means, as there could be delays in the westbound direction during that time.
The bore will be closed again on Tuesday, June 12, and again on Wednesday for the same period of time.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute while being cautioned to drive safely in the construction zone.
Are you really expecting delays at that hour?
At this stage of the game we’ve learned to be prepared for any eventuality!
